Emerson Network Power maintains partnerships and relations with all major DC battery manufacturers in North America -- GNB, Deka, C&D, Enersys and Panasonic. To complete your infrastructure solution Emerson Network Power provides VRLA, wet cell and monoblock batteries as well as compliance and safety supplies.
The Vortex power system can be configured with a modular front access battery stand to provide an entire power plant in one bay. Available options include manual battery disconnect/protection, low voltage battery disconnect, battery current monitoring and battery recharge current limit.
The Emerson Network Power Battery Disconnect provides disconnection and over-current protection for +24 VDC or -48VDC battery strings. Over-current protection is provided by a user-specified fuse or breaker rated from 300 to 800 amps. A shunt, included with the over-current protection device, measures charge and discharge current and can be monitored by a Vortex Power System MCA.
- Small footprint and multiple wiring attachment points for ease of installation.
- Voltage trip breakers permit remote shutdown/disconnect.
- Safety features include a Lock Out-Tag Out (LO/TO) attachment point and a door latch that is tool-secured for restricted access.
- Alarm options include a Form C, CBA/FA alarm and a door open alarm.
