The LORAIN® DB 48500 Battery Distribution Fuse/Circuit Breaker (BDF/CBB) is a modular
secondary distribution system that features high capacity, top or bottom feed,
over current threshold alarms. This modular system
provides effective secondary load distribution for single or multiple –48VDC feeds.
The LORAIN® DB 48500 system consists of up to thirteen (13) BDF/CBB Panels that can be
monitored from the Digital Meter Panel with a maximum of five (5) Panels in a
single frame. The BDF/CBB Panels mount on standard 23” frames and each
panel is split into two sides of load distribution with each side providing
eight (8) distribution positions for a total of sixteen (16) positions per
Panel. Each side provides
- Capacity of 500 amps for a total of 1000 amps per Panel
- Optional individual power feed per panel, or the left and right sides of the
panels mounted above / below each other can be
paralleled for a single feed. When paralleled, each feed has a capacity of
800 amps.
- Optional 10-position GMT fuse blocks for additional distribution
