CEV Controlled Environment Vault

The Controlled Environment Vault (CEV) and platform system provides flexibility when
housing a multitude of electronics in a controlled-environment. The CEV can house up to five bays of
remote terminal equipment, as well as all necessary protection, multiplexing
equipment, DC power, cabling, digital cross-connecting, and
backup batteries.
- Standard or customized platforms for specific applications
- Cable Rearrangement Facility (CRF) for easy subscriber cable distribution
- Centralized DC power rectifier systems and AC power UPS systems are available for distributing operational and backup power
- Backup power system for up to twenty years of maintenance-free service
- Standard R399 connectors for greater density of protection
- Standard connectors to terminate all cables in the CRF for proven industry-standard reliability
- Efficient space utilization
- Standard alarm reporting unit for greater security
- Cable Rearrangement Facility (CRF) that gives high-density front-facing splicing interface for terminating up to 6,600 pairs
