CoolPed™ and CoolPedPLUS™ are round-cornered, rectangular, free-breathing equipment closures designed to house environmentally hardened active electronics and cable splicing. Both closures provide optimal cooling for up to four Digital Subcriber Line Access Multiplexers (mounting brackets included) and four Network Interface Units. These CoolPeds serve as vented aboveground housings for active electronics and cable splicing.
- Screened louvered vents maximize heat dissipation and minimize contaminant ingression
- Removable two-sided double doors for easy interior access; wind latches for stability during maintenance
- Two 216-type tool locking latches provided per side with padlock hasps for added security
- Dual mounting stakes included for stake mounting; pad-mounting recommended
- PLUS version with large top vented area below cap for higher heat dissipation (HDD) applications
