The RGI/RPI InSealator series terminals are all-purpose housings for distribution needs. They can be mounted outdoors, on poles or walls, and are available with a variety of protected and non-protected InSealator terminal blocks.
The InSealator series terminal blocks feature Insulation Displacement Connection (IDC) technology. Through insulation displacement and encapsulation, the termination is environmentally sealed, exceeding the submersion requirements in Telcordia specification TR-NWT-000975. Termination is made by inserting the service wire and tightening the terminal screw with a standard 216-type tool. The blocks are available stubless or with optional PIC, filled, back or bottom-stubs.
- Blocks exceed Telcordia Specification TR-NWT-000975 for documented performance
- Mounts five to fifty non-protected pair or five to twenty-five protected pair terminal blocks for terminal block flexibility with a variety of pair counts and stub options
- Unique multi-stage paint process that meets or exceeds EPA standards for tough corrosion-resistant finish for longer life
- Rugged mill-galvanized steel housing for durability and low maintenance cost
- Service wire routing clips and rubber grommets for good housekeeping; clips and grommets groom wire and cable in position
- Moisture-resistant encapsulating sealant to seal all terminations and protect against corrosion
- Internal ground brackets for electrical protection
- Tip (white)/ring (orange) color coding for quick and easy tip and ring identification
- Positive stop termination points for simple and reliable terminations
- Bottom or back cable entry for convenient cable access
