Emerson Expands NetSpan Family of Integrated Solutions with the launch of its FDH Compact Series
ORLANDO, FL (October 1, 2007) Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR) and the global leader in enabling Business-Critical Continuity, today announced the addition of the NetSpan FDH Compact Series to its outside plant lineup at the 2007 FTTH Conference. This compact fiber distribution solution provides connections for fiber optic cables and passive optical splitters in FTTx applications and is an extension of the recently launched FDH cabinets. Emersons fiber cross-connect products have evolved into this new Compact Series that can be mounted to a ProFORM pedestal. The complete family of NetSpan FDH Solutions is ideal as a Local Convergence Point for aggregation in a centralized splitting Passive Optical Network (PON) FTTx architecture.

Readylinks teams with Emerson Network Power to offer Fiber-to-the-Home GigE Ring Solutions

Emerson Reports First-Quarter 2007 Sales Up 11 Percent to $5.1 Billion; 15 Percent Increase in Earnings Per Share to $0.55
ST. LOUIS (February 6, 2007) - Emerson (NYSE: EMR) announced net sales for the first quarter ended December 31, 2006 were $5.1 billion, an increase of 11 percent over the $4.5 billion reported in the same period last year. Net earnings for the first quarter increased 12 percent to $445 million, or $0.55 per share. This represents a 15 percent increase in earnings per share from the $0.48 earned in the same period last year. All per share amounts reflect the 2-for-1 stock split in the form of a stock dividend that was paid on December 11, 2006.
