Emerson Network Power's Compact, Modular Inverter System Minimizes Initial Cost without Limiting Future Expansion
LORAIN, OH September 19, 2004 -- Emerson Network Power, Energy Systems, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), announces the introduction of the LI48AMCAB modular inverter system for relay rack mounting that can be configured to produce 1kVA to 6kVA of 120 VAC, 60 Hz power from a 48 VDC input. The LI48AMCAB system is housed in 23" equipment shelves that support 1U inverter modules and an optional Static Transfer/Maintenance Bypass Switch.

LORAIN, OH September 19, 2004 -- Emerson Network Power, Energy Systems, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), announces the introduction of the Lorain® eXpandable Power (LXP) system. This next-generation platform incorporates a new controller family, advanced controller intelligence, and a compact rectifier design that is capable of constant power output. It provides 67% more current in 60% less rack space than previous designs. Increased power density results from new, more efficient rectifier circuits that create less heat and require less cooling--distinct advantages in applications where cabinet space is at a premium.
