New channel agreement combines manufacturing leadership with award-winning services

SAN JOSE, August 29, 2007 – At the OSP Expo, Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE:EMR), today announced an agreement with Global Energy and Technology to distribute outside plant products throughout California. Through this partnership, Global Energy and Technology will customize and distribute Emerson Network Power's JuiceBox® Power Transfer Switches (PTS), which enable the delivery of broadband services by providing AC power transfer, surge protection and distribution within advanced telecom networks. Global Energy and Technology is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) that specializes in technology distribution and services.

Some of the areas of customizations for PTS can include adding hoods that protect the meter from environmental elements, vandalism and theft, as well as various mounting configurations based on the location of the cabinet.
