NterpriseIP™ Solution Recognized for Outstanding Innovation

COLUMBUS, Ohio January 29, 2007 – Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR) and the global leader in enabling Business-Critical Continuity™, announced today that its NterpriseIP™ Solution won a 2006 Product of the Year Award from Technology Marketing Corporation’s (TMC®) Internet Telephony magazine (www.itmag.com).

The NterpriseIP Solution is a high-availability backup power system for the Cisco Catalyst 4500, Cisco Catalyst 6500; Cisco ONS 15454 Optical switches, and other large communications servers and switches. It is the first AC-powered DC Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system designed for plug-and-play support of IP Telephony and Power over Ethernet (PoE). NterpriseIP offers multiple levels of redundancy that can deliver six 9’s of availability, providing continuous, uninterrupted operation of IP telephony applications. It is highly scalable and allows seamless and uninterrupted application growth through Power Modules that can be added as needed without a system shutdown.

Integrated into a 19-inch Liebert Foundation enclosure that can also house extended battery protection, remote monitoring and the network switch, the DC power system is pre-wired for maximum power capacity and available in 4,500, 6,000, and 15,000 Watt configurations. Highly adaptive, the NterpriseIP can support extended battery runtimes, an AC-powered UPS (optional) and battery monitoring.

In many PoE applications, the NterpriseIP significantly improves power efficiency, resulting in electricity savings and reduced heat generation.
