Scope

 

Pre-Outage Planning

  • Plant walk-through and equipment assessment
  • Conduct pre-outage diagnostic testing
  • Perform pre-outage electrical maintenance
  • Develop electrical maintenance scope of work and schedule
  • Identify staff requirements and testing equipment needs

Pre-Outage Diagnostic Testing

  • Inspect liquid-filled transformers for leaks and other abnormalities
  • Perform oil analysis to determine if major maintenance is required during plant shutdown
  • Conduct infrared inspections to detect hot spots
  • Conduct partial discharge testing to identify insulation breakdown in cables and switchgear

Pre-Outage Electrical Maintenance
