Motor Control Center
A motor control center (MCC) is an assembly of one or more enclosed sections, having a common power bus, principally containing motor control units and are used in many industrial and commercial applications (typically installed adjacent to factory machinery). MCCs can also include variable frequency drives, programmable controllers, metering and could also include the building’s electrical service entrance. Transients can damage these motors, causing machine failure, halting entire production/assembly processes.
