The Edco CATV–DF surge protectors are designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from damage due to excessive voltage or currents generated by lightning or static build-up. It offers low signal loss at frequencies up to 2 gigahertz and incorporates GDT (gas discharge tube) technology. Applications include direct broadcast satellite systems, HDTV, and cable modems.
