Overview
The Liebert iCOM unit control automatically manages and optimizes air flow and temperature for the highest protection of IT equipment and energy efficiency. The control comes factory installed on certain Emerson Network Power data center cooling systems and also is available as an upgrade to existing systems. It is designed to simplify cooling unit configuration, establishing set points, identifying adverse events and monitoring system thresholds. Using machine-to-machine communication and advanced algorithms, it utilizes data from rack inlet sensors, pressure sensors and supply air sensors to optimize cooling unit operation. It is designed to eliminate single points of failure to protect the cooling unit in the event that adverse conditions arise at the system level. Self-optimizing features address adverse events before they become problems.​​​
