ASCO 5350 Eight-Channel Remote Annunciator

Efficient Individual Status Annunciation

The ASCO 5350 Remote Annunciator facilitates reliable monitoring, testing and control of ASCO transfer switches via built-in Ethernet technology.

The ASCO 5350 is a stand-alone, industrial grade interface device providing transfer switch status indication and transfer/retransfer control for up to 8 transfer switches. Ethernet technology is incorporated for fast, reliable communication. LEDs indicate switch status and position, while separate push buttons individually initiate transfer switch operation and testing. Multiple annunciators overseeing the same transfer switches can be placed in different locations, allowing redundant, distributed monitoring and control.

  • Monitor transfer switches distributed throughout a site at a central or multiple locations.
  • Perform remote transfer test operations with the push of a button.
  • Use additional annunciators for real-time redundancy in various locations.
  • Additional remote annunciators can be daisy chained using integrated Ethernet ports for scalability.
  • Integrated Ethernet technology, support of Modbus protocol and ability to interface with various ASCO controllers provides flexibility for integration to existing systems.
  • Power supply and Ethernet connectivity is built right into the 5350 Remote Annunciator providing an all-in-one solution.

There are two options for the 5350:

  1. Standalone Option (Part# 811440)
The standalone option would not include anything in addition to the 5350. This options would require your ATSs to be equipped with ASCO 5150s, and would also require an Ethernet Switch to accommodate the ATSs designed into the system.

  2. Retrofit Kit (Part# K871966-001)
The Retrofit Kit provides an RS-485 serial interface to the 5350 for serially connected transfer switches.

In addition to the 5350, the kit includes an enclosure (flush/surface mountable), Serial to Ethernet Converter and Power Supply. Only one kit is required for up to 16 transfer switches. So if the application includes more than 8 and 16 or less transfer switches, one retrofit kit and one standalone will be required. In other words, each group of 16 requires one Retrofit Kit.
