Real-Time Measurement and Monitoring

The ASCO Power Manager XP, Catalog No. 5220, collects real-time single or three-phase power information for engine-generators, utility, paralleling switchgear and automatic transfer switches.

The 5220 utilizes digital signal processing technology to measure voltage and phase currents while actively computing real, reactive and apparent power and bi-directional energy. Programmable KW low/high setpoints and configurable output relays provide control functions for various applications.

Monitoring capability is achieved via the local display or other PowerQuest interface products. The 5220 is equipped with RS-485 and SCI ports for remote monitoring applications. It supports ASCO proprietary protocols as well as the industry’s open Modbus protocol. Digital inputs are used to monitor external alarms and other discrete status signals.
