Aperture Integration Manager

Provides a standardized web services interface so that organizations can integrate Aperture solutions with other IT management systems and the broader ITSM framework. This solution includes a SOAP-based integration layer and tools, support for data- and process-driven interfaces to Aperture solutions and upgradeable, transaction-driven architecture to reduce the cost of ownership.

The complex systems and applications throughout the enterprise are critical components to deliver essential services to the business. Unfortunately, these IT systems and applications, especially related to the data center, typically cannot communicate with one another to share data or processes. These “islands of automation” or “information silos” generally lead to significant inefficiencies with regards to redundancies and duplicate information bases.

How should organizations ensure all systems and application work together to serve the overall needs of the business? By leveraging a single source of configuration data and new technologies, such as Web Services, organizations can collect and audit the existing infrastructure and interoperate with other systems such that accurate and complete information is consistently maintained.

Aperture Integration Manager
Aperture Integration Manager is a fundamental component of Aperture, an enterprise-wide solution providing best practices within the data center to ensure plans are executed efficiently and accurately. It supports the extension of the IT Service Management discipline - Data Center Service Management (DCSM) - into the data center to address infrastructure and resources in an effective manner.

Aperture Integration Manager includes integration packages, tools and utilities, and documented methods for integrating and interoperating with other IT Service Management (ITSM) systems. It enables organizations to integrate information and provide accurate and complete data for the management of data centers and overall IT infrastructure. In addition, Aperture Integration Manager allows for complete data and process integration; where information stored in other systems can be brought into Aperture for the data center personnel to use to make better decisions and provide information to other systems within ITSM to make service-centric IT management decisions.

  • Enables two-way integration between IT and corporate process through the BMC Certified Remedy Change Management and HP AssetCenter Integration interfaces
  • Streamlines workflow processes to ensure the highest level of operational efficiency
  • Organizes processes and operations between the Applications and Facilities group to enable fluid communication and prevent delays in execution
  • Consolidates information about physical resources with business services to support future planning
  • Eliminates the need for multiple data repositories and reduces the operational cost of implementing enterprise-wide integrations
  • Provides detailed data required for computational fluid dynamic (CFD) modeling tools to enable the analysis to be conducted more frequently and with greater accuracy
