Embedded Power Distributed Power Front-End Power Supplies

Distributed Power Front-End Power Supplies

Emerson Network Power is a market leader in power conversion solutions for systems that use distributed power architectures (DPA) and intermediate bus architectures (IBA). Emerson produces an exceptionally broad range of products spanning every aspect of this growing market sector. These include front-end AC-DC power supplies, isolated brick type DC-DC converters, intermediate bus converters, and non-isolated DC-DC converters.

Emerson Network Power's range of AC-DC power supplies includes a large number of models that are designed specifically as bulk power front-ends for systems that use DPA or IBA. They include 1U, 2U and 3U high rack-mounting modular power supplies with individual power ratings up to 3,000 watts, which can be used to configure bulk power systems with very high output capabilities.

If you do not find a solution for your power requirements within the range of standard products on these pages, please contact us to request information about Emerson Network Power's modified and custom products service.

Emerson Network Power produces three series of 1U high AC-DC Front-End Power Supplies for systems that use Distributed Power Architectures (DPA) and Intermediate Bus Architectures (IBA).
Emerson Network Power produces two 2U high modular AC-DC Front-End Power Supplies for systems that use Distributed Power Architectures (DPA) and Intermediate Bus Architectures (IBA). Both power supplies feature wide-range AC inputs and active power factor correction, and produce a main 12 Vdc output and a 3.3 Vdc standby output. The power supplies are suitable for hot-swap and N+1 redundant applications, have active current sharing facilities, and are equipped with I2C communication interfaces.
