OpenVPX
OpenVPX
VPX is a revolutionary standard from VITA for next generation high end commute intensive applications. It combines latest generation connector and packaging technology with high speed fabric connectivity in both 3U and 6U Eurocard form factors. The OpenVPX standard defines the system-level interoperability for multi-module system environments.

Emerson OpenVPX products offer the latest in processor, memory, and high speed fabric technologies with leading-edge rugged and cooling capabilities. They are ideal for high end industrial, communication and military/aerospace applications.

The 3U iVPX7225 from Emerson Network Power features the dual-core 3rd generation Intel® Core™ i7 2.5 GHz processor with integrated graphics and leading edge I/O functionality. Available in both air and conduction cooled variants, the iVPX7225 is suitable for a range of industrial, communication and military/aerospace applications.
One of first in a new line of VPX products from Emerson Network Power, the 3U iVPX7223 features the dual-core 2nd generation Intel® Core™ i7 2.20 GHz processor with integrated graphics and memory controller and the mobile Intel® QM67 PCH chipset with leading edge I/O functionality.
A 3U VPX chassis designed to minimize size, weight and power consumption and is suitable for population with up to three conduction cooled VPX modules. Supplied with either AC or DC power supply and with commercial or rugged connector panel.
KR8-VPX-3-6-1 is an Emerson enclosure designed for use with 3U VPX blades. This chassis is primarily designed for development and lab duties as it can be desk or table mounted, has a convenient carrying handle, is powered from a standard AC supply, and has the ability to act as an open frame chassis with the removal of the side panels for board level debugging. In addition, KR8-VPX-3-6-1 is suitable for deployment as it meets Emerson’s standard safety requirements and EMC and environmental requirements for ground benign based installations.
