The Communications Power Conference is set to provide a venue for Emerson Network Power to educate the market about the advantages of fuel cells, as well as address issues and concerns about the technology’s adoption. Panelists from three leading fuel cell companies, specifically ReliOn, Hydrogenics Corporation and IdaTech, will each present an overview of their technology and field trial developments.
Fuel cells, which generate electricity through an electrochemical reaction using hydrogen and water, provide a viable alternative to incumbent power solutions like battery and generator set by offering longer runtime, higher reliability, and environment-friendly power generation, among other benefits. Fuel cells are also utilized in private households and commercial heat and power generation, military, transportation, and various portable applications.
