PRODUCT INFORMATION SESSION

Managing the Data Center of the Future – Remote Service Delivery
Emerson Network Power introduces a new remote delivery technology for the data center of the future with the ability to fix a problem in a facility before it is even identified by the data center manager. The new technology improves mean time to repair by an average of 11 hours – the time it often takes for a data center manager to notice something is wrong. This panel discussion, which includes customer participation, will provide an overview of how this technology provides the deepest level of diagnostic information in the industry, and the ability to remotely monitor the data center through its entire life cycle, all while optimizing the life of critical equipment including batteries, the UPS and cooling equipment.

TUTORIAL

Investing, Building, and Growing a Sustainable DCIM Strategy
The explosion of DCIM offerings from vendors, DCIM definitions from analyst and DCIM (social) media coverage can leave people wondering what DCIM really is and question how they might successfully select and implement a solution for the long term. With a mix of industry vendor veterans and a DCIM power user who has lived through a DCIM implementation, this session will cover everything DCIM, including self-diagnosis, product evaluation, and implementation to long-term success. The session will be split into presentation and open panel sessions; and an anonymous pre-session survey will be distributed prior to Data Center World and the data will be evaluated and presented in the afternoon of this session.  Participants will come away with a solid understanding of DCIM and how to decide what it means for you, as well as plenty of real-works examples of what works and what does not.
