NetSure™ 201
(90 minutes)
Our next-generation
NetSure 201 DC
power platform
satisfies the power requirements for mini power size applications by combining space efficiency and reliable rectifiers with an optimized controller. This session
will present to you
the features &
technical
specifications of
the systems, and
continue with
hands-on training
for the start up,
operation,
configuration,
maintenance and
trouble shooting
features of
the systems. |
 |
NetSure™ 501
(90 minutes)
The NetSure 501 System features a high density power solution in a 2RU system solution comprised of an SCU Controller and up to (3) 1800W NetSure rectifiers. Training for Emerson's
NetSure 501 will
start with the
basics of product
introduction and
proceed to the
hands-on turn-up and
configuration
procedures. We'll
also explore web
access turn-up and
configuration of
this system. |

NetSure™ 701
(90 minutes)
Our medium DC power
platform training
session will cover
start up, operation,
configuration,
maintenance and
trouble shooting.
Featuring the next generation, global DC power technology platform
from Emerson Network Power,
the NetSure 701 is
derived from the
existing VPS 246000
power system,
utilizing the same
controller and
distribution
elements while
incorporating the NetSure rectifiers
and converters. This course will explore the NetSure 701
system components
and how they
interact. |
 |
NetSure™
801 (90 minutes)
The NetSure 801 is a 2000-20,000
amp -48V DC power plant fed by 480 VAC.
The plant can be
configured in a
centralized or
distributed
architecture. Training for
Emerson's next
generation large
power plant will
consist of an
overview of the
system components,
how they interact,
MCA familiarization,
LMS1000 interface,
standard alarms,
custom alarm
programming and
trouble shooting. |

Cabinet Installation & Grounding
(50 minutes)
An investigation and hands on approach to the factors surrounding the installation and grounding of an outside plant cabinet within the network. Differences between
wireless and wireline deployments will be discussed as well as some of the more common mistakes that occur during the installation process that have a long term effect on the overall performance and warranty of the system. |
 |
Fuel Cell Installation & Commissioning (90 minutes)
This technical session is designed for both the novice and the seasoned professional. Session will focus on the alternative energy technology and its application within telecom as an alternative to the battery plant reserve. The hands on approach will show each participant the ease of installation, turn up and maintenance of the fuel cell system in both an indoor and outdoor application. |
 |
NetSpan™ FDH Fiber Cross Connects (90 minutes)
This compact fiber solution provides connections for fiber optic cables and passive optical splitters in FTTx applications. NetSpan FDH solutions are ideal as a Local Convergence Point (LCP) for aggregation in a centralized splitting Passive Optical Network (PON) FTTx. Session will focus on the product application within the network as well as the various configurations and deployments within the network. |
All hands-on training will require pre-registration once at the conference.well as the various configurations and deployments within the network. |
